DAY 01 : HO CHI MINH - ARRIVAL  (-/-/D)

Meet on arrival at Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer to hotel. Ho Chi Minh City , still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam .

Dinner on floating restaurant with show and cruise on Saigon River .

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 02 : HO CHI MINH – CU CHI (B/L/D )

We drive out this morning, to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war.

Afternoon, sightseeing tour acquaints us with the city's major sights. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before exploring the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to this palace are some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office.

Then, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale.

Dinner and Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 03 : HO CHI MINH – HANOI – HALONG  (B/L/D)

Transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Hanoi (Domestic airfare is not inclusive)*.

Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport , transfer to hotel for check in.

We depart for Halong Bay through the scenic countryside. Along the way we make stop over at Dong Trieu pottery village to observe many craft man at work. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam 's most impressive scenic sights. In the morning, we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay .

A seafood lunch on board provided.

This exciting four hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water.

Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Overnight in Halong

DAY 04 : HALONG – HANOI (B/L/D)

After breakfast, transfer back to Hanoi city, along the way enjoy the scenic landscape in the countryside.

Lunch at local restaurant.

Hanoi city tour: visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and the whole months of October-November) and His Residence, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam's first university….Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake and visit Ngoc Son temple. Dinner at local restaurant.

In the evening you will attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi .

DAY 05 : HANOI  – DEPARTURE (B/-/-) 

Whole day free at your own leisure until time for transfer to Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport for your onward flight home.

Surcharge for domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh – Hanoi : SGD 175 per person including taxes ( subject to change )
